About Us
Our Mission
The EBT Foundation’s mission is to preserve and operate the East Broad Top as a steam-powered railroad; to educate visitors about the role of railroads in local and national history, and to promote local and regional tourism and economic growth.
Leadership & Partners
The EBT Foundation is organized and guided by a small group of prominent rail-industry industry figures, preservation experts, and longtime EBT fans.
The Project
Since the Foundation purchased the railroad in February of 2020, we’ve made significant progress in restoring America’s oldest narrow gauge railroad!
Impact
A critical part of our mission is being a catalyst for economic growth in the our local community, and our region.
